Introduction to Chardham Yatra
Chardham, meaning "Four Abodes," is one of the most revered pilgrimage circuits in India. Located in the serene and majestic Himalayas of Uttarakhand, the Chardham Yatra includes four sacred Hindu shrines — Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. Each of these sites is dedicated to a different deity and holds deep spiritual significance:

Traditionally, the journey takes several days to complete by road and foot. However, in recent years, helicopter tours have made the yatra more accessible, especially for senior citizens and devotees with limited time or physical constraints. Tour Plan
DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT DEHRADUN
1. Arrival: Reach Dehradun Airport or Railway Station, where our representative will warmly receive
you and assist with your transfer.
2. Hotel Transfer: Enjoy a smooth and comfortable ride to your pre-arranged complimentary hotel
stay in Dehradun.
3. Pick-up and drop-off services from Dehradun Airport, Bus Stand, and Railway Station.
4. Evening Meal: Relish a tasty dinner included as part of your stay
5. Acclimatization: Take time to unwind and adjust to the altitude and climate before
your spiritual journey begins.
6. Mandatory Briefing: Please ensure you are at the hotel by 7:30 PM for an important
pre-yatra briefing session (exact timing will be confirmed upon arrival).
7. Orientation Session: During this session, your tour coordinator will walk you through
the itinerary, share essential travel guidelines, and hand out duffel bags for your
helicopter journey.
8. Rest & Recharge: Get a good night’s rest to prepare for the exciting beginning of
your Chardham Yatra the next morning.
DAY 2: DEHRADUN TO YAMUNOTRI [FLYING DURATION: 30 - 40 MINS]
Dehradun to Yamunotri – A Sacred Beginning
Departure: Your journey begins with a comfortable drive to the Sahastradhara
helipad in Dehradun, where you'll board the helicopter to Kharsali (Yamunotri).
Arrival at Kharsali: On landing, our ground team will assist with your luggage and
escort you to the hotel for check-in.
Breakfast: Served either in Dehradun or at Yamunotri, depending on your flight
timing.
Yamunotri Temple Visit & Local Exploration
Trek to the Temple: After breakfast, begin your 6 km trek to the sacred Yamunotri
Temple. Palki or pony options are available for added comfort.
Darshan: Seek blessings at the revered temple dedicated to Goddess Yamuna.
Lunch & Rest: Return to the hotel for a delicious lunch followed by rest and dinner.
Evening Excursion: Visit the serene Shani Mandir and Yamuna Mata Temple to
enrich your spiritual journey.
DAY 3: YAMUNOTRI TO GANGOTRI [FLYING DURATION: 30 - 40 MINS]
Yamunotri to Gangotri – Serenity in the Himalayas
Departure: After breakfast, board your helicopter to Harsil, a scenic valley often
dubbed "Mini Switzerland" of Uttarakhand.
On arrival, our team will assist you with your transfer to the hotel.
Gangotri Darshan: A comfortable 20 km drive takes you to the revered Gangotri
Temple, nestled amidst the majestic Himalayas and dedicated to Goddess Ganga.
Temple Visit: Soak in the divine energy and breathtaking natural beauty as you
offer prayers at one of the holiest sites on the Chardham route.
Back to the Hotel: Return to your hotel for some well-deserved rest in premium
accommodations, complete with private washrooms and delicious vegetarian
meals.
Leisure Time: Enjoy gentle walks, quiet moments in nature, or light sightseeing in
the tranquil Harsil Valley.
Dinner: End your spiritual day with a wholesome dinner prepared fresh at the hotel.
DAY 4: GANGOTRI TO KEDARNATH [FLYING DURATION: 30 - 40 MINS]
Helicopter Transfer: Begin your day with a helicopter ride from Gangotri to the
Guptkashi/Sersi/Phata helipad. From there, take a connecting 6–10 minute shuttle
flight to Kedarnath. Please note there may be a waiting period of 10 minutes to 3
hours depending on weather, scheduling, or technical factors.
Arrival in Kedarnath: Land amidst the awe-inspiring Himalayan peaks at one of the
holiest shrines of the Chardham Yatra, where spiritual energy meets breathtaking
natural beauty.
VIP Darshan: From the Kedar-top helipad, our team will escort you for a priority VIP
darshan at the revered Kedarnath Temple, offering you a peaceful and deeply spiritual
experience.
Return & Accommodation: After darshan, you’ll return to the basecamp via helicopter
and check into your comfortable lodging.
Dinner & Rest: Enjoy a hearty dinner and a relaxing overnight stay at the Kedar

DAY 5 : KEDARNATH TO BADRINATH [FLYING DURATION: 30 - 40 MINS]

flight through the stunning Himalayan landscape as you head to Badrinath.

DAY 6: BADRINATH TO DEHRADUN [FLYING DURATION: 55 - 65 MINS]
Morning Blessings:
After breakfast, offer your prayers to Lord Badri Narayan one last time. In case of an
early departure, breakfast may be skipped.
Helicopter Ride to Dehradun:
Board your return flight to Dehradun, carrying with you the peace and joy of your
Dodham Yatra.
Arrival in Dehradun: Once you land in Dehradun, our team will collect your luggage from the hotel and
ensure a smooth transfer to your chosen departure point—whether it's the airport,
railway station, or bus stand.
End of the Journey: Your spiritual journey ends with a warm farewell as we drop you off for your onward
travel, closing a memorable chapter of your Dodham pilgrimage.
